Fleur de Lis is a 17.1hh imported Selle Francais. Fleur had an extensive career in France in the jumpers
before being imported. She went on to have an impressive career in the hunter ring where she was both an over fences
and hack winner. She won excellent prizes in large classes at shows such as The Hampton Classic and WEF. She
was shown in the 1st Year Greens and the Adult Amateur divisions. Her pedigree has produced some top horses and her
dam sire Starter (Baloubet du Rouet's dam sire) stood at the French National Stud and sired 14 approved stallions and is a
noted sire of broodmares.
Fleur has had two foals for us and we are very pleased with both
of them. Her 2007 filly Izabelle by Zarr is very much like her dam; tall, elegant and athletic. Razzle by
Rio de Dinero is also tall, correct and athletic. He was sold to a professional home. Fleur had three foals previous
to us owning her. Two are competing at "A" shows in the Pre Greens and Children's Hunter, and one is a young jumper
competing at 1.30 m.
